I sometimes think of what I might do on Sunday mornings if I did not have the privilege of leading worship and overseeing our meetings. Of course, I never do so with longing, as I love doing what I do. That being said, I know what I would be doing these days; attending the Foundations of the Christian Faith adult ed class. John and Margaret Stewart have set aside the first service hour to lead a time of prayer in the 700 building. I have the privilege of praying with John and the rest of the pastors and elders on Tuesday mornings, and I have benefited greatly from his example and the passion that he has for the discipline and delight of prayer. I would encourage all of the people of Four Oaks that don’t have a commitment during the first service to go and spend a sweet hour of prayer with the Stewarts.
