Your Leaders are Retreating!!

But only for a couple of days. Don’t worry, we’ll be back on the front line by Saturday night.

The Elders will be gathering together at an undisclosed location for fellowship, prayer, and strategic discussion. Don’t try to find us- the Elders themselves don’t even know where they are going. Only Larry Shingler and Paul Gilbert know these things - they will lead us to the secured location with blindfolds at the proper time.

But…you can join us in spirit through prayer and fasting.

The Elders will be fasting through the day on Friday and breaking the fast with dinner together and then an evening of prayer and discussion regarding the life of the church.

Will you pray for us?

Pray for faithfulness.
Pray for unity.
Pray for integrity.
Pray for joy and fellowship.
Pray creativity and imagination.
Pray for wisdom in strategic decision making.
Pray for the blessing of our church and this city through these godly men and their service.

This is a wonderful season in the life of our church. The leadership strongly desires to be faithful stewards of our resources, our health as a family, and our unique position in the community. In the coming weeks we’ll see the construction begin on our new ‘ministry hub’ at Four Oaks Center. The elders have a heart to do the work of spiritual building for the future as we break away for prayer, planning, and vision casting.

I don’t think I can tell you how earnestly I desire your prayers for us and your heart with us as we look to the future.
