Sunday Preview, 9/6/09

What a privilege it is to gather with the family of God on his day!  We have been enjoying some rich times in fellowship, song and God’s word the last few weeks.  This Sunday we will continue in our study of Luke chapter 9, examining verses 49-62 and three more sins common to disciples.

We will remember the sufferings of our Savior in the partaking of the Lord’s supper.  This will also be our last Sunday of the summer with elementary school kids in the service with us.  Thanks to all the parents who have sought to make this a fruitful time for their children through patient instruction.

We will sing the song we learned last Sunday, “How Great is Your Faithfulness” and “Thank you for the Cross.”  Looking forward to gathering at the King’s table with you…
