The goal of the worship and music ministry at Four Oaks is to assist the gathered church in offering heartfelt responses of praise and worship to God in spirit and truth. In corporate worship, we give him the glory that he alone deserves by the power of the Holy Spirit through the means that he alone makes possible by the work of Jesus Christ.
Biblical worship combines the mind and the heart – we proclaim and affirm what is true about God, his works and attributes, and we delight in him as our only source of everlasting joy. Our desire is that our corporate worship would be a powerful and beautiful expression of God’s glory and our enjoyment of his blessings.

While we wholeheartedly affirm that we are called to worship God in all of life, we also see in Scripture the priority of specific time and place offerings of worship in the life of God’s people, both in private and when they are assembled in his name. For this reason, congregational singing is valued in all expressions of congregational life at Four Oaks.
We seek to be God-centered and Bible-saturated in our singing, connecting the emotional power of music with the life-transforming truth of God’s word.
