On Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 4pm, we will have a church-wide Congregational Meeting to discuss where we believe God is specifically leading us as a church family. Coffee and dessert served, and childcare through 5th grade will be provided so as to facilitate attendance for as many of you as possible. God has been incredibly gracious to us during this transitional season, as we have been blessed with tremendous unity, spiritual growth, financial stability, and excitement for the future on the part of the Four Oaks family. This gracious provision has now manifested itself in what the elders believe is a clear consensus and direction for the future of our church and the calling of a new Lead Pastor.
We are asking you to prayerfully consider setting aside March 10 at 4pm to come hear us discuss this decision and direction in more detail, as well as how we have arrived at this point. It is very important that you understand clearly what the elders are proposing, the process that led us to this place, and our vision for the future.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to talk to any one of us on the elder council, as we would love to process this with you in more detail leading up to the congregational meeting on March 10. Please continue to pray that God will lead us to faithfully follow and obey Him during this season!
