Kept to Scatter
We are kept to go, to preach and proclaim Jesus to a world that desperately needs to hear the good news of life and hope in Him.
The gospel is not good advice or a good way to live; it’s the good news of what God has done in Jesus Christ to save sinners. This is the message that has been entrusted to us so that we might proclaim it with authority, boldness and faith in the Holy Spirit’s work.
In the same way, the church is not an event, a venue or a social club; the church is God’s instrument for the declaration of this good news. We are called to a ministry of proclamation that takes us outside ourselves, outside our comforts, and outside our walls.
